1. Agreement
By renting equipment from Numa Film (hereinafter referred to as "we", "us" or "our"), you (hereinafter referred to as "the Renter") agree to the following terms and conditions. This agreement constitutes a binding contract between us and the Renter.
2. Rental Orders
2.1 All rental orders must be sent by email to rent@numafilm.ro at least 48 hours before the desired pick-up time.
2.2 Each order must include a detailed list of the equipment required, the rental period and any specific requirements.
2.3 Orders are subject to availability and must be pre-approved by us. Order confirmation will be provided by email.
2.4 Equipment cannot be picked up without an official confirmation email from us.
2.5 We rent equipment only to companies registered in the EU. We do not rent equipment to private individuals.
3. Rental Period
3.1 The rental period begins on the date and at the time the equipment is picked up and ends when it is returned.
3.2 Late returns will incur additional charges calculated per day until the equipment is returned.
3.3 Extensions of the rental period must be requested and approved in writing before the end of the current rental period.
4. Rental Charges
4.1 The Renter agrees to pay all rental charges, deposits and any other fees incurred under this agreement.
4.2 Payment must be made in full before the equipment is released. Accepted payment methods include: bank transfer and card payment.
4.3 We do not accept cash payment.
4.4 A detailed invoice will be provided, setting out all charges.
5. Security Deposit
5.1 A refundable security deposit is required at the time of rental.
5.2 The amount of the deposit will be specified in the confirmation email.
5.3 The deposit will be returned after the equipment has been returned and satisfactorily inspected. Any damage, loss or late fees will be deducted from the deposit.
5.4 Additional forms of guarantee may be required depending on the financial situation of the renter.
6. Use of the Equipment
6.1 The Renter agrees to use the equipment with care and in an appropriate manner and to comply with all laws and regulations.
6.2 The equipment must not be used for any illegal purpose or in any way that could damage the equipment.
6.3 The Renter is not permitted to sub-rent the equipment to a third party.
7. Responsibility and Liability
7.1 The Renter is responsible for any loss, damage or theft of the equipment during the rental period.
7.2 The Renter agrees to cover the cost of repairing or replacing the equipment in such cases.
7.3 The Renter must notify us immediately if any equipment is damaged, lost or stolen.
8. Maintenance and Repairs
8.1 The Renter shall not attempt to repair the equipment.
8.2 If the equipment breaks down, the Renter must notify us immediately.
8.3 We will arrange the necessary repairs or replacement as soon as possible.
9. Return of the Equipment
9.1 The equipment must be returned in the same condition in which it was rented, apart from normal wear and tear.
9.2 The equipment must be returned on the agreed date and at the agreed time. Late returns will be subject to additional charges.
9.3 Any missing or damaged items will be charged to the Renter at replacement cost.
10. Booking a place at the WORKSHOPS organized by NUMA FILM
10.1 The places available at a workshop are limited. Once the available places are taken, no further places are added.
10.2 A booking may be cancelled with a full refund of the participation fee no later than 7 days before the workshop takes place.
10.3. In the event of force majeure, if the participant can no longer take part, the participation fee is refunded in full.
10.4. Payment of the participation fee for workshops can only be made online, by card, through a secure transfer via the payment processor implemented in the platform.
10.5. Participants undertake to behave decently throughout the workshops. The presence of participants under the influence of alcoholic drinks, or under the influence of other substances (including drugs), is not accepted. Failure to comply with this provision results in leaving the Numa Film production premises, whether voluntarily or not.
10.6. At the start of the workshop, all participants will receive an induction on Health and Safety at Work. Failure to attend or refusal in this respect results in being unable to take part in the workshop, with no possibility of a refund of the participation fee.
10. Cancellations
10.1 Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start of the rental period or of the workshop may be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the value of the quotation.

11. Technical Crew Requirement
11.1 Certain items cannot be rented without a technical crew provided by us in order to ensure correct operation and technical support.
11.2 These items will be clearly indicated at the time of the rental request and in the confirmation email.
11.3 The cost of the technical crew will be included in the rental charges and set out in the invoice.
12. Rental Agreement
12.1 For each rental order, a detailed rental agreement will be prepared.
12.2 Both parties must sign the rental agreement before the equipment is released.
12.3 The rental agreement will set out the terms, conditions and responsibilities specific to that rental.
13. Indemnity
13.1 The Renter agrees to indemnify us and hold us harmless against any claims, damages or expenses arising from the use of the equipment by the Renter.
13.2 This includes, but is not limited to, any claims made by third parties, legal fees and costs associated with any damage or injury resulting from the use of the equipment.
14. Limitation of Liability
14.1 Our liability for any damages arising from the rental, use or performance of the equipment is limited to the rental charges paid by the Renter.
14.2 We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the equipment.
15. Governing Law
15.1 This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania.
15.2 Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the municipality of Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
16. Entire Agreement
16.1 This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior negotiations and understandings, whether written or oral.
16.2 No waiver or modification of this agreement shall be valid unless it is in writing and signed by both parties.

17.1 No modification or amendment of this agreement shall be valid unless it is in writing and signed by both parties.
