credit: Numa Film / Blue Youth Films In an increasingly hurried and chaotic world, a Romanian film invites us to pause and remind ourselves what love really means. Nimic Mai Mult și Nimic Diferit, one of the most anticipated Romanian films of next year, officially goes into production.

Directed by Lucas Neagu, one of the most promising voices of the new generation of Romanian filmmakers, the film tells a simple but deeply moving story: the life of a couple, with all its stages, awkward beginnings, moments of crisis, moments of joy and a haunting ending.

The story spans 50 years, and in the lead roles we find Ana Ciontea and Marian Râlea, two legendary names of the Romanian stage, alongside Daria Pentelie and Vlad Lință, who play the younger versions of the two.

Filming will take place exclusively in Cluj-Napoca, in July 2025. The cinematography is by Horațiu Curuțiu, who is also a producer on the project alongside Lucas Neagu. The two are making the film through the production companies Numa Film and Blue Youth Films.

The film will be edited by Eugen Kelemen, known for his collaborations in contemporary Romanian cinema, and post-production will also take place in Cluj, at the Numa Film studios.

The film will premiere in cinemas in Romania in 2026, followed by an international festival run and a caravan of special screenings around the country, complemented by events for the public, workshops and direct meetings with the team.

This summer, in August to be more precise, we've got an email from Oscar saying that he wants to shoot a music video for his new song Haka Haka Haka (Move your Body). It's not on our daily basis that we make music videos for Swedish artists, so we got to agree pretty fast on therms and everything, this way we were ready for this shoot by the end of the month, right after we've booked Denisa Hodisan our main actress. We had a pretty tight 2 days of shooting with Oscar and our actors, this meant a lot of planning but we made it. (more…)

Day #2 was our hardest day. We had planned everything, and we needed to shoot in 3 locations. Two of them were rented apartments, and one was the famous Joben Bistro. (why famous? well, it is on top 20 with best interior design in the world. Daily mail also wrote about them : LINK )
